Aloo cheese kofta is a quick and delicious Recipe as we call them served on a bed of rich creamy spiced gravy. This can be served as a snack or appetizer.

Cook Time: 20-25 min

Prep Time: 10-20 min

Serve: 4

For Gravy

1-2 cardamom pods
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tbsp brown onion paste
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
1-2 cloves
1 tbsp salt
1 cup cream
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup water


1. In hot oil, add the bay leaf, cardamom and cloves.
2. Add the ginger garlic paste and onion paste and cook for 2 min.
3. Then Add all spices and cook till it leaves out oil.
4. Add the tomato puree
5. After the gravy thickens add some cream, salt and sugar and cook till it boils.

For the Kofta

2 potatoes boiled and peeled
2 tbsp cornflour
Salt to taste
Mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Coriander
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp jeera powder


1. Add coriander, jeera powder,salt to taste and cornflour to the boiled potatoes.
2. Make a flat disk with a spoonful of potato and place a piece of Mozzarella cheese in the centre.
3. Roll it into a ball and make sure the cheese is covered with potato.
4. Roll in cornflour, dust off excess and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
5. Pour the gravy over the koftas and garnish with fresh cream and coriander.
6. Serve immediately Cheesilicious And Delicious Aloo Cheese Kofta.
