Khakhra Chaat recipe is a very simple to make and it is perfect evening time snack. Khakhra is a popular dish of Gujarat. Khakhra Chaat is a kind of versatile snack that can be eaten any time.

Preparation Time: 

Serves: 3-4


Khakhra: 3-4

Onion: 1 (Chopped) 

Tomato: 1 (Chopped)

Paneer: 1/2 Cup (Optional)

Sweet Corn: 1/2 Cup (Boiled)

Tomato Sauce: 1-2 Tablespoon

Green Chilly: 1-2 (Chopped)

Oregano:1 Teaspoon

Chilly Powder: 1/2 Teaspoon

Coriander Leaves : 2 Tablespoons

Salt: as desired

Oil: 2 Teaspoons


  • Heat a pan and put two teaspoons of oil. Add green chilly and onion. Fry onion until it turns light brown and then add tomatoes. Fry for two minutes only more.
  • Add boiled sweet corn, chilli powder, and oregano in an order. Fry for four to five minutes.
  • Then, add tomato sauce and salt. Now, add broken khakhra pieces and add Paneer and coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix it well.

Khakhra Chat is ready!!! Serve immediately with sauce or Green Chutney
